On the Needles

I bought this elegant black La Boheme by Fiesta Yarns at my lys - Labadie Looms. It is a mohair and rayon bouche blend.

I have one sock finished and about half of the second one. They are fun! This is my first attempt and I think it looks pretty good. They even fit!

Yes, I have another felted bag started! Told you I was addicted. It is a Booga Bag.
I am using Noro Kureyon #52.

Finished Objects - Felted Purses

I can't stop knitting! I love to knit with wool and then wash it and see what comes out. I have made several purses since spring.
Tab Topped Tote - pattern from Felted Knits by Beverly Galeskas. I used Noro Kureyon.

I made this pink Sophie bag for my daughter. The camera flash makes it look like lilac but it is a real pretty pink. She wanted a tie closure and no other embellishments. It is made from Galway yarn. The pattern is from MagKnits.
I also have made a kelley green one but am working on some felted flowers to pin to it.

I made this Sophie bag for our church's silent auction. I used a yellow Cascade 220.

This bag is from "The Petal Pusher" pattern from Designs by Shelley. I used black Galway. The buttons are from my stash of antique stenciled buttons. I have made it so that I can take the ribbon off and change to another embellishment with the change of seasons.

Finished Objects - Shawls

This shawl was knitted from Custom Dyed Yarns by Prism, Light Stuff Half, Color -Harvest. I purchased the yarn at Noble Knits in Malvern, PA. The pattern is on their website.

This shawl was knitted out of Galaxy by Classic Elite Yarns. Also purchased at Noble Knits.

Have to Make Purse for Handles

I picked up these adorable plastic handles at Kaleidoscope Yarns in Essex Junction, Vermont (kyarns.com). We were in the area on our family vacation in July. I decided to use a Galaway orange for the purse. Since I am not used to blogging, I didn't take a before photo but here is the finished product. The pattern is from Two Old Bags - it is the medium Mother & Daughter Bag.
